Keep in mind that this is still a work in progress, and that the editor's UI design and layout has a striking resemblance to Hoggy 2's level editor.

In October 2019, there was a survey asking whether Raptisoft fans wanted John to work on another game or Hamsterball. Raptisoft will use their own level sharing servers, like the ones in Hoggy 2 and Robot Wants Kitty (mobile port), two of Raptisoft's other games, in which you can 'like' and 'dislike' levels, flag them for inappropriate content, and add stars to levels to give them more publicity.

To upload a level to the servers from the editor, it will be alot like Super Mario Maker, where you have to complete it yourself to upload it. The game will have a level editor akin to something like Minecraft and Super Mario Maker, where you place specified blocks onto a landscape, like Toobs, roads, obstacles, enemies, etc., and then you can warp and shape them to your liking, for example as Raptisoft states, "you can place a long straight path and add a spiral warp-style to it", and can also just move vertices and faces around. According to a forum post that has been answered by Raptisoft themselves, it will be planned to be released after Raptisoft is done with the other games, and it will be released on (hopefully) all major game sharing sites, examples include WildTangent, Steam, and Origin. HamsterBall 2 will be the sequel to the first game.
